VIVATEK Therapy**
Developed by ITM (International Therapeutic Machines) over a 20 year period, Vivatek is hailed as a scientific breakthrough in the treatment of neck and other pain conditions. The development of this machine earned ITM the coveted Therapeutic Product of the Year Award by the World Health News Network in 1998. The award ( the equivalent of a Nobel Prize for Medicine) is presented to companies whose product will effect the most significant change in the way catastrophic disorders are treated. This innovative therapy employs the power of high speed computers, bio-robotics and multitasking applicators. Vivatek Therapy is completely non-invasive - no surgery, drugs, needles or side effects (fig. 8, 9). It is highly successful for the treatment of neck pain, back pain, headaches, lifting injuries, repetitive trauma, whiplash injuries, radicular pain, myofascitis (inflammation of muscles) and many other neuromusculoskeletal conditions, including various types of disc degeneration and herniation.

How does VIVATEK work?
The Vivatek System applies multiple technologies concurrently in order to obtain synergistic effect as they interact. Taken individually, these treatment methods have proven benefits. Together they demonstrate significant added effectiveness. One fundamental, unique and patented (FDA approved) component of Vivatek System is the generation of infrasonic waves directed at specific area (fig. 10). One sonar wave is transmitted inward and reflected or bounced from the bony structures . A second sonar-type wave is also transmitted and timed to resonate with the reflected first wave and pinpoint a specific site of the spine.
Simultaneously, Vivatek stimulates trigger and acupressure points, along with the application of infrared deep penetrating heat. At the same time, a new and patented non-linear disc traction process creates a negative hydrostatic pressure, or vacuum, inside the disc. This allows the herniated disc to be drawn inward into the disc space, as well as, rehydrating the disc. Finally, relaxation techniques built into the system enhance the receptivity of patients, optimizing the overall clinical benefits. All these applications can only be applied simultaneously with today’s multitasking, high speed computer technology.

Resulting from these interactive, concurrent applications are: 1. The spinal column are mobilized and aligned. 2. The infrasonic pulse creates a biologic harmonic resonance that maximize nutrient/oxygen uptake within the disc, causing rehydration of the disc. 3. Non-linear disc traction restores lordotic curvature, aligns articular facets and creates negative intra-discal pressure. This allows the bulging or herniated disc to retract back into the disc space. 4. Neurotoxins are evacuated. 5. Neutralization of the mechanoreceptor impulses resulting in maximum segmental vertebral separation without resistance and reducing muscle spasm. 5. Vertebral segment separation restores disc spacing, normalizing annular fiber criss cross angle allowing torn ligament to heal. Finally, proprioceptor fiber reaction response is normalized causing improved balance when ambulating. For additional information please visit http://www.vivatek.com

**The doctor will conduct a thorough review of the patients clinical history and physical examination, review all tests, such as, X-rays, MRI, EMG, Laboratory and other reports. The doctor will then recommend a comprehensive program best suited for the patient’s condition.
